"What if a lorry driver lost control of his vehicle and crashed into your building?"

Impact

What is it?

Impact refers to damage done to your property by a road vehicle (not necessarily your own) or an animal.

What does it cover?

Impact insurance covers you against the loss or damage of your property as a result of being hit by a motor vehicle or an animal. If, for example, a lorry driver lost control of his vehicle and crashed into your building you would be protected against the resulting loss or damage.

If you have heavy vehicles making deliveries to your premises (or other properties nearby) this is another factor to consider.

What having Impact cover means to you

Should your property be hit by a careless driver, a runaway truck or even a rampaging bull you will be covered against the cost of repairing the resulting damage.
